The existing flat layout was outdated and underutilised, with the kitchen and lounge occupying prime rear garden views. The client’s vision was to open up the rear of the property to create a spacious, light-filled living area while also gaining an extra bedroom — significantly increasing both liveability and property value.

Our architectural team redesigned the floor plan by:

• Relocating the kitchen to the new extension area

• Transforming the original kitchen into a new bedroom

• Changing the front lounge into a master bedroom

• Designing an open-plan kitchen/living/dining space at the rear

• Adding floor-to-ceiling glazing and bi-fold doors to bring in natural light and connect the interior with the garden
